    Breakfast Program

Recruiting staff who have varied qualifications, backgrounds, and experiences enhances effective problem-solving on the job. In addition, employers who have a diverse staff can often meet the varied needs of their customer base in a more efficient manner. Diversity in the workplace also often breeds creativity and innovation as well. There are a number of exciting employer incentives available from NY State and the Federal Government to assist employers in creating that diverse workplace. The incentives detailed at this workshop are utilized across NY State and every day more companies are taking advantage of the financial benefits currently available. In this session, you will discover resources for pools of talent you may not have been aware of and you will learn how to apply for these incentives. You also will learn about the tools that HR professionals need to assist employees with disabilities with regard to accommodations and where to get them.
